Nail Care for Your Wire

Regular nail care is necessary for your Wire Fox Terrier. Some people use a regular guillotine hand clipper but many breeders and owners prefer using a dremel tool. There are several links below to show you exactly what you will need to do. If you choose to clip your dogs nails, the diagram will still be helpful in showing you where to cut. The "quick" is easy to see in white nails. If your dogs has any or all black nails, you can examine the underside to see the hollow end in front of the quick which can be cut or dremeled off.
